Fort Lauderdale Rugby welcomes all players. Whether you are a veteran rugger or a new player curious about rugby you are welcome to step on the pitch with us!
There are several teams that new and old players can play for ranging from competitive division one men’s rugby to social beach touch rugby.
Active members are expected to pay club dues and CIPP with USA Rugby.
Mens Team

Fort Lauderdale Men’s team plays division one rugby in the USA. The mens team season starts in August and continues through March.
There is also a division two team that practices and plays with the division one side. Typically all division one and two games occur at the same location.
Men’s Summer 7’s
During the summer there is 7’s training and a number of sevens tournaments that Fort Lauderdale enters.

The Fort Lauderdale Women’s rugby season also starts in the fall.
Silver Knights
The Sliver Knights consist of Fort Lauderdale Rugby alumni and old boy players who come together and play in tournaments. Old boy players have also been known to fill in the division II team when they are in need of players.
Social Touch Rugby
In addition to the competitive teams. There is a large group of players that come together an play touch rugby Tuesday nights at mills pond park.
Beach Rugby
In addition to touch rugby at mills pond park there is also beach touch rugby during the summer near the Clarion Hotel.
All Player and non players (Men and Women of any level) and age are welcome to come and play. The team are picked at random. This is a great run and lots of fun. Bring your family down they can enjoy the pool or beach while you play rugby. If your new to the team or are interested learning to play this is a great this is way to meet the current player, coaches, our oldboys, social members and learn a little rugby.
