CIPP Register with USA Rugby
All players must be a registered CIPP member with USA Rugby. USA Rugby covers the insurance/legal/liability aspects of playing a rugby game. To register head over to
and follow the instructions. Once completed you’ll be given a CIPP Membership Number. It’s a good idea to write down this number since it is required in player rosters.
Team Selection
This is the club policy for selection and is a proven formula.
There may be occasions when there is only one player available for a specialist position and the coach’s don’t have a choice, but that is an exception. When 2 players are available for a position then the following applies;
- DUES PAID (being paid per an arranged plan. If you have just joined the club your Fall Dues are $75 see Nick and give him some cash).
- CIPP Registered with FTL Rugby (If not see directions above).
- Attendance at training.
- Application and achievement at training.
- Attitude to the team, players and Coaches.
- Helping other players to master a skill.
- Taking a positive leadership role.
- Being positive.
- Fitness.
- Game day performance.
- Contribution to the game.
- Playing as a team member.
- Stuck to the game plan.
- Attitue and conduct on and off the field.
