CIPP Register with USA Rugby

All players must be a registered CIPP member with USA Rugby. USA Rugby covers the insurance/legal/liability aspects of playing a rugby game. To register head over to

and follow the instructions. Once completed you’ll be given a CIPP Membership Number. It’s a good idea to write down this number since it is required in player rosters.

Team Selection

This is the club policy for selection and is a proven formula.

There may be occasions when there is only one player available for a specialist position and the coach’s don’t have a choice, but that is an exception. When 2 players are available for a position then the following applies;

  1. DUES PAID (being paid per an arranged plan. If you have just joined the club your Fall Dues are $75 see Nick and give him some cash).
  2. CIPP Registered with FTL Rugby (If not see directions above).
  3. Attendance at training.
  4. Application and achievement at training.
  5. Attitude to the team, players and Coaches.
  6. Helping other players to master a skill.
  7. Taking a positive leadership role.
  8. Being positive.
  9. Fitness.
  10. Game day performance.
  11. Contribution to the game.
  12. Playing as a team member.
  13. Stuck to the game plan.
  14. Attitue and conduct on and off the field.
