Buffet style dinner with desert and 2 free drinks at the bar, there will be cash bar available if you want more than 2 drinks. We will try to get the same DJ who was at Littleman’s 60th birthday party.

Dress code: Smart casual.
We encourage you to get decked out if you wish but sharply dressed will be fine. This is normally a formal event so don’t show up in jeans and a t-shirt. Well, I guess you could, but you will look and feel out of place when Tom Wright shows up in a full blown tuxedo!

We require that you make reservations and payment ahead of time so we have an accurate count to give the catering people at the Inverrary hotel. You may prepay with cash or check to Littleman, Mark Etue or Sarah Bradley. You may also click on the link below to pay directly through the website. All transactions are 100% secure. Please be sure to include your email address as your receipt will be emailed to you. You may also pay at the door, but it will cost you $30.00 per person and you must call ahead of time so we know you will be coming. There will be no way to accommodate a run at the door of 30 people and prepare food for them. So, even if you plan to pay at the door, please contact either Mark, Sarah or Littleman ahead of time and let them know you plan to attend.

We welcome members of other area clubs to attend in order to honor Terry Day and give him a proper sendoff and show appreciation for all he has done for rugby over the years. We expect a big turnout for this affair. Make sure you are part of it!

“D 2 will see Fort Lauderdale Naples Miami and Tridents return to D 2 forming a South conference. It is intended that these teams will play home and away.

Pelicans Daytona Jacksonville and Orlando will form the Northern conference and play each other home and away.

Both the North and South teams will play each other once making 2 home and 2 away games which will be reversed in 2011/12 on the assumption there will be no relegation/promotion by the South.

At least 2 seeds will go forward to the south Championships based on points at the end of the season.”

Practice will begin Sept 14th 7pm and will be every Tue & Thu from 7-9.

Parks are moving us to Osswald Park. This has just undergone a full remodeling and is in excellent shape. They will be assigning us a permanent Rugby Field at the park. They have also undertaken to maintain the field and line it for us. We will be able to put up the permanent goal posts.

Here is the address for Osswald Park. It is just on the other side of I-95 across from Mills Pond, which will be undergoing renovations.

Sept 11th From 12 – 7pm Buffalo Beach end of summer/beginning of season touch rugby extravaganza, with bbq and touch tournament (beach rules). Invite your friends and family. At South Beach park on the south end of Fort Lauderdale beach, just north of the Yankee clipper hotel. The event is also posted on facebook
